Fluid Massage focuses on enhancing the fluid dynamics of the fascia and lymphatic system. Utilizing gentle, sustained pressure and stretching techniques, this massage aims to release restrictions and improve overall fluid movement. Incorporating elements of Swedish massage and Swedish gymnastics, this session nourishes the joints while promoting a full range of motion. You'll also enjoy a serene atmosphere with gentle music and therapeutic essential oils, which aid in myofascial release and lymph drainage. Additionally, I offer a digestion release component, featuring abdominal massage and reflexology to further enhance your wellness experience.
Flow Massage is specifically designed to support lymphatic function. While it is not intended for medical purposes, it is ideal for individuals feeling stagnant or sluggish in their lymphatic flow. This session employs effleurage and manual lymph drainage techniques that I’ve mastered through my education and training in cupping. Drawing on my experience from two decades ago, I also incorporate facial cupping to stimulate the skin and muscles, enhancing circulation, reducing puffiness, and promoting collagen production. Like the Fluid Massage, this session also includes essential oils that support lymph flow, along with a luxurious Rose Facial Serum infused with nourishing oils and delightful scents.
For those seeking a more targeted approach, Functional Bodywork offers a quick yet effective treatment that can be seamlessly integrated between your regular massage sessions. Characterized by a slightly firmer touch and a focused pace, this technique zeroes in on specific areas of concern, making it particularly beneficial for issues related to the knees, shoulders, lower back, and more. Here, you can expect detailed work that aims to alleviate chronic restrictions that hinder your full range of motion. Techniques used in this session may include gua sha, cupping, assisted stretching, PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), IASTM (Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization)/Graston technique, and more.
